Let’s get down to business

Business as usual? Maybe not… this sexy number says naughty secretary all over it :P.

I love the leopard print Blazer from ISON ( you can find it at Vintage Fair along with the über cute panic boots I love)  The detail work in this blazer really is awesome.

I’m wearing a very short skirt number with it by Sticky fingers. Can I just say.. I really like Sticky fingers. The clothing there is so sexy and if I had a boyfriend, I would own a lot more pieces lol. The leather skirt has a nice suede look too it and the zipper accent at the back brings it to life.

We all know how I feel about these boots from an earlier post, I had to wear them again for this post. It brings a youthful feel to the outfit and keeps it from looking too formal.

I’m a fan of teeth in SL and there’s a few good ones out there but one of the best has to be the teeth from PXL. They look so realistic and makes my mouth look like a juicy fruit…don’t ask me why I feel that way..maybe its the slightly wet look of the teeth. Whatever the reason, I LOVE THEM.

Baby it’s cold outside

It is definitely looking like Winter where I am and I find myself bundled up , washing my hands 50 million times but still sick! Even still, I love cold weather! I love the wind and the rain and cold air. It gives me a reason to bundle up, sip tea and lay around in bed all Thanksgiving week! Which is exactly what I have been doing.

I stopped into Tulip on my many wanderings in SL and fell in love. This place is like a candy store full of comfort. I picked up a little of everything here. I like the neutral colors available here and everything just looks comfortable.  My whole outfit is pretty much TULIP minus my fav pair of tights by Tres Blah.  My hair is from Lelutka and skin from Dutch Touch.

 

The ankle boots from Tulip are really cute with built-in socks. It’s not always easy to find a flat or low heel boot in SL lately and I was relieved to find these. I won’t have to worry about busting my arse in the snow or slippery rain drenched sidewalks. The wedge on these make them practical but still gives a bit of height to my vertically challenged avatar.

I’m no shy violet.

Lately I have been on skin kick. I just can’t help myself.  What’s better than skin shopping? Skin shopping when there’s a sale going on of course. Dutch Touch’s skins are on sale for a nice discount. I am not sure how long it has been running , I don’t remember seeing anything in the feeds but I just so happened to stop in today because I have been in love with the skin Jaliah for some time. 450L a starter pack? yes! Lipsticks that compliment the skin for 250L? Oh yes! A skin that is one letter off from my name…OF COURSE. The skin is beautiful, soft and youthful looking. I couldn’t wait to snap pics in it.

Tres blah has these very cute tank tops that tie at the waist and even though I am wearing my high waist shorts from The Secret Store and couldn’t justify using the prim knot to the shirt; it worked out perfectly.

Vintage fair is on going and I had to make a stop at ISON’s booth there. They put out some stellar items for the fair. Not only did i get the ankle boots I specifically went there for, I also picked up a few more items. I love the london feel to the items. Ison is one of those stores that I keep my eye on.  You should too!

It could all be so simple

Tonight I felt like playing around in Photoshop. While trying out a new technic here and there, I thought to myself.. I look pretty cute, might as well blog it!

I am in love with MOURRAY  by LeLutka. Its  messy and so sexy. It’s also very versatile. You can wear formal wear or casual and it still  looks perfect.  I love side swept bangs too , so this hair was just all kind of Mmm for me.  Let’s face it, Letuka makes some of the best hair in SL, I can’t wait to see what they come up with when they open their  mesh line!

Collabor88 is still full of goodies, and I’m wearing a few more items I picked up recently there. I am wearing the top portion of a dress made by Whippet & Buck as a shirt and Tres Blah ripped jeans. I LOVE to wear lace, TB’s pants have a hint of lace underneath the ripped areas of the jeans and I  just had to put on  a lace top to go with.

Mstyle Rivea pumps? OF COURSE.. I love peep toe heels and the height on these babies….sexy!

I picked up a cute pose pack from Olive Juice called “Call me” It comes with the vintage style phone and is col0r changeable.  Adorable.

Down to Earth

The beauty of earth tones.  I don’t think there is any person who could not wear earth tones.  Browns, deep greens, burgundy they all make me feel nice and toasty inside when I see them.

I love this Corseted Tweed jacket by The Sea Hole. The structure of the shoulders and the way it tapers down at the waist makes me think of something futuristic, even high fashion.

Bax Prestige boots, an all time favorite. Years later and these boots still look amazing. These boots are chock full of options in  one pair of boots. You have  4 Brown color options, toe accents, zipper changes,  boot flap up or down , denim cuffs or no flaps at all.  Many more options I can’t even cover here because I am running late for work 😛 If you do not own the updated version of these boots, GO GO GO and buy them now. If you own the older version the update is FREE just click the updater while wearing your boots.

LaQ recently released Lacie2. I own the original lacie but still i had to get lacie 2.  I love the smokey shadow and soft look of the skin. I’m usually fresh-faced and bushy-tailed but for those times were you need to sexy it up..this skin is perfect.

Coco still has a clearance sale going on and you can find some great buys there. I picked up a pair of cargo pants just for the hell of it and they prove to photography well!

Do What You Want.

Black is my favorite color so what better way to celebrate my first post …

I flirted around with a few possibilities but it all changed when I hit Collabor88.  I freaking love this place.  Most of the items found here are 88L sometimes 188L but still a discounted price on amazing finds from some of the best designers in the game.  The first thing I saw when I walked in was Lamb’s phenomena.  The hair is kick ass…seriously. I love the partially shaved hairstyles that are becoming so popular. This one spoke to me, it said “fugging buy me already!” so I did.  I bought it in the blondes pack but I may just go back for the browns too  when I switch between skins.

Another awesome find at Collabor88 is the skin Paige by Illusory. It comes in the milk tone only but I liked it so much I went to the main store and picked up Latte as well.  The pack at the store comes with a nice collection of lipsticks and only cost me 1k a skin. Love it. The one I have on in the pic however is only 88L ..woot! I like the minimal makeup skins.  I don’t  really wear a lot of makeup in RL and it reflects in SL as well.  A little lip stain/ gloss and mascara and I am ready to go.  The body on this skin is soft and so is the makeup..I give it a thumbs up.

So from Collab88 I was off to Tart. I LOVE TART!! The clothing is so cute and the prices are lovely. I fatpacked about everything I wanted.  You can’t really see it in this picture but the Chrissy top has a cute cross over look on the bodice . I’m also wearing the Corset skirt w/ garter option in black from Tart. You can never really go wrong with garters can you? I hope not because I’m a bit obsessed with them.

Erratic has the best wide fishnets in SL in my opinion, I just had to wear them along with the oh so very fabulous , MESH thigh high boots from SLink.  I know mesh has been under fire a bit but I really do like the concept.  These boots are as close to perfection as I can find.  If i tried to wear thigh high boots  in sculpt…I would fail miserably..I have my mother’s thighs, butt and hips.  I would only succeed in throwing sculpt thigh boots  in the trash after spending 2-3 hours trying to fit a lost cause. So kudos to you SLink! They fit me like a glove 😛

Hello everyone!

 

Welcome to my Blog. I hope that it proves to be informative in guiding you a bit through  the world of Second Life Fashion.  Though this is of course mostly going to be my taste in clothing,  my tastes are eclectic and always evolving. I’m sure as the months and hopefully years pass I will see a growth in not only my style but the designing world in SL as well.  I started playing SL years ago and if you told me how much things would change as far as creative content went, I would think you were nuts.  We have come a long way from system skirts and hair fringe (shudders).

 

I don’t want to bore you with the old days of SL so lets get this blog started!

 

I hope you enjoy it as much as I am sure I will enjoy posting.
